Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. You will work closely with our attorneys providing support before, during and after trials.

This on-site role requires at least 2 years of litigation experience, an associate degree or paralegal certificate, and strong organization. The salary range is $70,000 to $85,000 per year, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2+ years of litigation experience required.
• Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred.
• Experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to calendar depositions, mediations, and hearings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda.
• E-file all court documents in state and federal court.
• Communications with clients, court, counsel, and others.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
• Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses.
• Draft and server summons.
• Coordinate and summarize depositions and prepare trial binders.
