Job summary

FBFK Law is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from intake to trial and appeal. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The position covers case management, pleadings, discovery, legal research, deposition and trial prep, and client communication. Hybrid work arrangements may be available; experience with e-filing platforms is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
• Experience with federal and state court procedures and rules; discovery, depositions, and trial prep.

Responsibilities

• Support case management from intake through resolution; maintain case files and status reports.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda under attorney supervision; prepare responses to motions.
• Coordinate discovery requests/responses; prepare subpoenas and manage document productions.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw/LexisNexis and summarize authorities.
• Assist with deposition preparation, transcripts, and trial binders; coordinate witnesses.
• Maintain deadlines and docket management; ensure filings comply with court rules.
