Job summary

Security First is seeking a skilled Paralegal to support attorneys in managing litigated files and resolving disputes related to claims. This role offers independence within a collaborative legal team.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, managing case files, coordinating witnesses and trial preparation, and assisting at trials. The ideal candidate has a paralegal degree or certification and at least three years of paralegal experience, including first-party property

Qualifications

Paralegal degree or certification.
Minimum of three years of paralegal experience, including first-party property experience.
OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and experience.

Responsibilities

Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery for litigation.
Manage case files, conduct legal research, and track case progress.
Prepare and summarize discovery, including records, depositions, and responses.
Coordinate witnesses, experts, and trial preparation activities.
Attend trials and assist attorneys as needed.
Collaborate with internal partners to execute litigation strategy.
Communicate with parties, witnesses, and stakeholders throughout the case lifecycle.
