Job summary

Wilhite Law Firm seeks an experienced litigation paralegal to support one of our top trial attorneys. You will conduct critical research, draft documents, interview clients, and assist with trial preparation, contributing to strong client outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of paralegal experience in litigation, at least 1 year in personal injury, and superb organization. The role is hybrid in Denver with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal under attorney supervision.
• At least one year of personal injury experience.
• Excellent organizational, follow-up, and time-management skills.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review, request, compile, and organize medical records and coordinate vendor services.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, affidavits, and discovery requests or responses.
• Filing motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
• Communicate compassionately with clients and witnesses.
• Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files and exhibits.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and attend trials, hearings, depositions, or client meetings.

This role supports one of our best litigation attorneys by providing critical research, document preparation, client interviews, and trial preparation, helping build strong cases for our clients.

This role is ideal for an experienced litigation paralegal to work in collaboration with the winner of one of the top 50 Jury verdicts in Colorado, multiple Super Lawyer awards, DBJ’s Top 40 under 40 award, as well as many jury verdicts and 7-figure settlements.

What You’ll Do

• Make a significant impact and achieve outstanding results for our clients
• Review, request, compile, and organize medical records including facilitating third-party vendor services for such.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, disclosure statements, subpoenas, affidavits, and discovery requests or responses. Also, filing motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
• Communicate compassionately with clients and witnesses
• Prepare, organize, store, and retrieve case files, which may include evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, exhibits, and other items.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, which may include attending trials, hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings.
