Qualifications

• Associate degree and paralegal certification required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of six years paralegal experience may be considered in lieu of formal certification.
• Experience in mortgage default, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or creditor rights litigation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and update client websites with case milestones, status updates, and document uploads.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal stakeholders via phone, email, and client platforms.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and status requests.
• Prepare, review, and process litigation documents, including motions, discovery requests, responses, firm defenses, and related pleadings.
• Maintain accurate case information in the firm's case management system.
• Ensure legal documents comply with filing and recording requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Assist with client scorecard reviews and rebuttals as needed.
• Coordinate with attorneys regarding hearings and deadlines to ensure coverage.
