Job summary

Orlans Law Group in Troy, MI is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our debt collection and creditor's rights practice. This full-time role offers hybrid or remote work and a path to grow under mentorship and hands-on experience.

You will review documents, draft pleadings, attend hearings in Pennsylvania with guidance from senior attorneys, and develop your litigation skills through real-world practice and client interactions. Training provided.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar (or pending admission).
No Disciplinary Actions in last 10 years.
Must be able to cover court appearances within Pennsylvania.
Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Team player with a proactive mindset.
No prior experience required - we'll train you!

Responsibilities

Document Review & Preparation: Analyze and draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
Court Appearances: Represent clients in hearings across Pennsylvania with guidance from experienced attorneys.
Client Interaction: Build relationships and provide clear, professional support.
Legal Research: Stay current on legal developments to support case strategy.
Case Management: Organize and manage files to ensure timely execution.
