Job summary

Confidential Employer in Plano, TX seeks a litigation paralegal for a full-time, on-site role with a potential hybrid shift after 90 days. The position offers exposure to sophisticated litigation, discovery, and trial preparation using modern technology and AI-assisted tools.

You will support attorneys across case life cycles, manage files and exhibits, draft pleadings, file documents, and coordinate discovery while meeting deadlines. 2+ years’ paralegal experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years as a litigation paralegal in a law firm.
• Hands-on discovery, depositions, and trial prep experience.
• Strong e-filing and court-deadline management skills.
• Familiar with Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and state rules.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys from intake through trial, resolution, and appeal.
• Manage case files, evidence, exhibits, timelines, and summaries.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and letters.
• Prepare and file documents in state and federal courts.
• Coordinate discovery, productions, privilege logs, and review.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, public records.
• Prepare research summaries and assist with cite-checking/Bluebook.
• Prepare deposition outlines, exhibits, and witness materials.
• Coordinate experts, vendors, and other litigations stakeholders.
• Attend depositions/hearings/trials as needed.
• Track court dates, deadlines, and filings; manage electronic files.
