Job summary

Kahn Yuniver Law in Brooklyn seeks an Associate Attorney with at least two years of litigation experience to join our expanding commercial litigation practice. You will collaborate with attorneys on case strategy, draft pleadings and discovery, manage e-discovery, and assist in trial preparation while maintaining meticulous case files.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil litigation procedures and state/federal rules.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and client-service skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment in a high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with attorneys on case strategies and project statuses.
• Draft, review, and format pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests/responses.
• Manage e-discovery: collection, review, and production of electronic documents.
• Coordinate state and federal court filings, adhering to local rules and procedures.
• Assist in trial preparation: organize exhibits, trial binders, and witness files.
• Conduct factual and legal research to support case development.
• Facilitate communication between clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team.
• Maintain organized hard copy and electronic case files.
• Perform related legal and administrative duties for the litigation team.
