Job summary

LHH in Austin, Texas seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its busy team on a temp-to-hire basis. You will manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, draft pleadings and discovery, coordinate production, and support depositions and hearings.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of paralegal experience, strong court procedures knowledge, and proficiency with legal technology. This on-site role offers competitive hourly pay and long-term growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm environment.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures.
• Experience handling discovery and document production.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced practice.
• Proficiency with legal technology and case management systems.
• Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage business and corporate litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and legal documents.
• Coordinate document production and discovery, including ESI review and organization.
• Assist with depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Track litigation deadlines and maintain attorney calendars.
• E-file and e-serve documents in state and federal courts.
• Maintain organized case files and litigation databases.
• Support attorneys with administrative and case management responsibilities
