Job summary

Kutak Rock LLP has an opening for a Litigation Paralegal in its Northwest Arkansas office. The role supports attorneys in the Fayetteville and Rogers offices, working full-time in-office, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week in Rogers.

The position involves drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and memoranda; supporting case management and deposition preparation; and handling discovery and trial materials with strict confidentiality and professional discretion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal program given preference.
• 3+ years paralegal experience in litigation preferred.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, memoranda and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal and nonlegal research.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, memoranda, and correspondence.
• Assist with case management, strategy, and progression.
• Assist attorneys with deposition preparation and exhibits.
• Coordinate discovery including subpoenas and depositions.
• Prepare deposition summaries and trial notebooks.
• Assist in trial preparation and travel arrangements for trial.
• Handle billable hours and expenses.
