Job summary

CACI is seeking a motivated Paralegal to support USAO attorneys on a wide range of litigation tasks, from filing documents with courts to organizing and indexing discovery materials and exhibits. You’ll collaborate closely with legal teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness under pressure.

Qualified candidates will have a paralegal certificate or JD (or be enrolled in an ABA‑accredited law school) with at least one year of study, plus litigation support experience.

Qualifications

• Requires paralegal certificate, JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, with at least one year of study.
• One year of litigation paralegal experience or project experience is required; trial experience is helpful.
• Automated litigation support experience valued; knowledge of Lexis/Westlaw for basic research.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; proficiency with standard computer apps and databases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and summarize materials for discovery and motions, and maintain case files.
• Index, track and control document discovery and prepare exhibit cross-references.
• Assist attorneys in courtroom and review documents for relevance and privilege.
• Perform basic legal research and support witness interviews, depositions, and trial prep.
