Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Certification in Paralegal Studies.
• 3+ years of experience in a combination of the position practice areas.
• Proficiency with court rules in state and federal courts.
• Experience in reviewing and summarizing medical, financial, and other case documents.
• Well-developed writing and research skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery and routine correspondence.
• Experience managing deadlines in electronic and paper calendars.

Responsibilities

• Managing, organizing and facilitating complex litigation cases involving multiple parties and counsel
• Collecting, managing, organizing, and reviewing large volumes of discovery documents electronically
• Well-developed writing and research skills
• Drafting pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence
• Applying both state and federal court rules of civil procedure
• Calculating, calendaring and tracking court deadlines, and coordinating the scheduling of depositions, mediations, hearings and trials
