Job summary

The Houston, TX office of Lewis Brisbois is seeking a paralegal with litigation experience to support a minimum of four attorneys. Primary duties include calendaring, document management, and preparing materials for discovery, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate, 3+ years in litigation, strong Excel skills, and excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required.
• At least three (3) years of litigation work experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
• Flexible and/or fluctuating work hours.

Responsibilities

• Calendering for multiple attorneys and case deadlines.
• Document management: review, creation, and organization of materials.
• Compile information for discovery responses, interrogatories, pleadings, motions and depositions.
• Assist with trial preparation and related tasks.
• Notices: maintain timely and accurate documentation.
