Job summary

Dinsmore & Shohl LLP is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in our Litigation practice group. The position involves reviewing medical records, preparing deposition notices, managing case chronologies, drafting discovery requests and responses, and assisting with motions and exhibits.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of business litigation experience, excellent communication skills, and strong organizational and technical abilities.

Qualifications

• Requires at least five years of experience in business litigation.
• College degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of discovery and managing court dockets.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong technical and database skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and summarize medical records and deposition transcripts.
• Prepare notices of deposition and deposition exhibits.
• Communicate with experts and clients.
• Create and maintain case chronologies.
• Draft discovery requests and responses, and assist in motions and exhibits.
• Organize and manage document productions and deadlines.
• Coordinate with staff to fulfill production needs.
• Ability to multi-task and handle a large caseload, including overtime.
