Buchanan in Miami invites a Litigation Paralegal to join its team and support attorneys through all phases of complex litigation, arbitration, and employment matters from case inception through trial and closure.

The successful candidate will have 2–4+ years of paralegal experience, a Bachelor's degree (Paralegal Certificate preferred), and hands-on experience with eDiscovery and litigation support platforms such as Relativity and Opus2.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Bachelor's degree required; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Experience with eDiscovery platforms Relativity and Opus2 is strongly preferred.
• Strong legal research and writing skills; excellent organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, file, and manage pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and court filings in accordance with state and federal rules
• Support document review, production, legal research, cite-checking, and case management activities
• Organize and maintain case files, databases, exhibits, privilege logs, transcripts and work product
• Coordinate with litigation support and eDiscovery teams on data preservation, collection, review, and production
• Assist with trial preparation, hearing support, and on-site trial logistics
• Manage relationships with outside vendors and ensure compliance with confidentiality and security protocols
• Train attorneys and staff on litigation support tools and best practices
