Job summary

Kisling, Nestico & Redick in Ohio is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support an assigned attorney by researching facts and preparing documents. You will manage cases, obtain and organize medical records, and communicate with clients throughout the process.

This office-based role requires 3-5 years of paralegal experience and a paralegal certificate, with proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel. Strong English grammar and professional conduct are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years relevant work experience required.
• Paralegal certificate required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• This position is based in office, M-F.

Responsibilities

• Investigate facts and prepare documents to support the attorney.
• Case management and timely client communication.
• Obtain, review, and organize medical records.
• Prepare damage summaries including medical expenses, lost wages, property damage.
• Log daily mail and prepare checks and disbursement summaries.
• Assist attorney with settlement documentation and disbursements.
• Balance verifications and assist with subrogation lien resolution.
• Draft correspondence for case management.
• Attend monthly team meetings and provide support to team members.
• Maintain regular attendance.
