Job summary

Snell & Wilmer is seeking a Paralegal Assistant to support the Litigation practice group in the Phoenix office. The role involves handling complex matters, maintaining case files, and ensuring efficient case management across all phases of litigation.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the office. The position offers a competitive compensation and a generous benefits package starting on day one.

Qualifications

• Education: Baccalaureate degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited program (or a combination of education and experience).
• Attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter who can work independently with appropriate supervision.

Responsibilities

• Case & Document Management: Organize and maintain case files and ensure accessibility.
• Litigation Support: Assist in discovery, trial preparation, and case management tasks.
• Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on legal documents for accuracy and compliance with firm standards.
• Legal Research & Analysis: Review case law, statutes, and precedents relevant to commercial litigation.
• Client & Team Coordination: Maintain strong working relationships with attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• E-Discovery & Compliance: Support e-discovery efforts in line with procedures.
