Job summary

Mineola Litigation Firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support its Personal Injury practice. The role is fully in-office, five days a week, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of paralegal experience in civil litigation, with insurance defense background preferred but plaintiff experience considered. You will work alongside an experienced team handling active cases from inception through trial.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Personal Injury experience required (defense preferred, plaintiff considered).
• Strong understanding of the litigation process from case inception through trial.
• Experience with discovery, document production, medical records, deposition preparation, and trial preparation.
• Highly organized with excellent communication and time management skills.
• Able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and manage pleadings, discovery demands and responses.
• Coordinate depositions, IMEs, hearings, and court deadlines.
• Organize and review medical records and litigation files.
• Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and trial materials.
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Maintain case calendars and ensure compliance with litigation deadlines.

Our client, a well-established litigation firm in Mineola, is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support its Personal Injury practice. Compensation

• Competitive salary based on experience (target range approximately $75,000-$95,000+ )
• Full-time, in-office position (Monday-Friday)

• Plaintiff PI candidates with strong litigation experience are also encouraged
