Job summary

This Seattle-based regional law firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys in the employment practice group. The cases span healthcare and IP matters, offering engaging and varied work with a collaborative legal support team. You’ll lead trial preparation, draft pleadings and subpoenas, manage discovery, and coordinate with witnesses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a billable capacity
• Familiarity with EEOC federal and state procedures
• Paralegal certificate preferred or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead on trial preparation: preparing exhibits and coordinating with witnesses
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, motions, and correspondence
• Manage discovery: review documents, oversee production, coordinate with outside vendors
• Provide day-of trial support and assist attorneys with a dynamic workload

Your New Role:

This regional firm's Seattle office is seeking a motivated Litigation Paralegal to support a dynamic group of attorneys in their employment practice group. The cases are super interesting and will run the gamut, touching on some healthcare and IP matters initially.

You'll enjoy the challenge of a varied workload and comradery of the legal support team. In this role, you'll take the lead on trial prep – preparing exhibits, coordinating with witnesses, and providing day-of trial support. Your writing skills will be key as you draft legal documents including pleadings, subpoenas, motions, and correspondence. Your discovery management responsibilities will include reviewing documents, overseeing production, and coordinating with outside vendors.
