Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Litigation Paralegal role based in Ridgeland, MS. The Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys with all phases of civil litigation, including drafting and formatting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence. Daily responsibilities include organizing and maintaining case files, managing document production, performing legal and factual research, and reviewing records to support case strategy. The role also involves coordinating with clients, courts, and third parties, tracking deadlines and hearing dates, and preparing exhibits and trial notebooks. The Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys to support efficient case management and ensure timely, accurate completion of litigation tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare and manage legal documents, including Legal Document Preparation and Pleadings.
• Strong skills in Document Review and analysis of case-related materials.
• Proficiency in Legal Research to support case strategy and motion practice.
• Experience drafting, organizing, and filing Motions and related litigation filings.
• Prior litigation paralegal or legal assistant experience in civil or insurance defense matters preferred.
• Associate’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
• Proficiency with legal case management software, MS Office, and electronic filing systems.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, work collaboratively with attorneys and staff, and maintain confidentiality.
