Job Title: Litigation Paralegal (Full-Time)

Position Summary

Wise Carter is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time litigation Paralegal to support our client’s team of attorneys in insurance defense litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, possess excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment, contributing to complex legal cases while supporting a team of accomplished attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all stages of insurance defense litigation, including discovery, case preparation, and trial support.
• Draft and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence.
• Manage case files, ensuring all documents are properly organized, filed, and up to date.
• Conduct legal research and summarize case law, statutes, and other legal documents.
• Assist in fact‑finding and investigation for cases, including reviewing medical records, reports, and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel to facilitate case progress.
• Prepare exhibits and assist in trial preparation, including organizing materials, depositions, and witness testimony.
• Track important deadlines, maintain attorney calendars, and schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings.
• Provide general administrative support to the legal team as needed.

Qualifications
