Job summary

Ultimate Staffing in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to support a high-volume docket in a specialty law firm serving financial institutions and lenders. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of litigation experience, strong drafting, filing and discovery skills, and familiarity with state and federal rules.

Experience with default servicing, foreclosure, or creditor rights is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of litigation paralegal experience required; default servicing, foreclosure, creditor rights, or real estate litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in drafting litigation pleadings, motions, disclosures, discovery, and other legal documents with minimal attorney oversight.
• Working knowledge of state and federal court rules, procedures, and electronic filing systems.
• Experience managing active litigation caseloads and coordinating court deadlines, hearings, and case milestones.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys with high-volume litigation caseloads involving default servicing, foreclosure, title, and creditor rights matters.
• Review loans for potential legal action, manage active litigation files, prepare and file pleadings, coordinate case strategy and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with applicable court rules and procedures; act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors.
• Draft complaints, motions, disclosures, and discovery; coordinate hearings and court deadlines; manage state and federal filings.

An industry-leading specialty law firm, is currently hiring for a Litigation Paralegal for our Phoenix office. We specialize in the representation of financial institutions, investors, title insurers, housing authorities, and select businesses in all matters related to servicing, mortgage banking, consumer finance, title insurance, real estate finance, and the enforcement of mortgage loans.
This is a self-directed, detail-oriented position, and we are looking for someone who is ready to jump in, take initiative, and hit the ground running.

Description:

As a Litigation Paralegal, you will support attorneys with high-volume litigation caseloads involving default servicing, foreclosure, title, and creditor rights matters. This position is responsible for protecting clients' interests by reviewing loans for potential legal action, managing active litigation files, preparing and filing pleadings, coordinating case strategy and deadlines, and ensuring compliance with applicable court rules and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex litigation matters from inception through resolution, including drafting complaints, motions, disclosures, and discovery; coordinating hearings and court deadlines; handling state and federal court filings; and serving as a key liaison between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third-party vendors. We are seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal with a minimum of three years of litigation experience. Experience within the default servicing industry is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management platforms; experience with LPS, Legal Tracker, TEMPO, VendorScape, or similar systems preferred.
