Job summary

TrueSeek is seeking an experienced General Litigation Defense Paralegal in Philadelphia to support attorneys on general liability defense matters. The role emphasizes hybrid flexibility, detailed case work, and long-term stability within a collaborative firm environment.

You will manage cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation, review medical records, draft pleadings, coordinate depositions, and conduct legal research with Westlaw.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience in general liability or insurance defense.
• Experience reviewing medical records and creating medical chronologies; PA litigation procedures.
• Strong organizational, communication and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, case management systems, Westlaw; 1,600 annual billable hours target.

The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced General Litigation Defense Paralegal to join a growing team handling sophisticated general liability defense litigation matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned paralegal who values hybrid flexibility, detailed case work and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in managing general liability defense cases from inception through discovery trial preparation and resolution
• Obtain, review and summarize medical records and other case materials while preparing medical chronologies and case timelines with accuracy and efficiency
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, responses and correspondence while conducting legal research using Westlaw
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, expert witnesses and trial materials while maintaining case files, court deadlines and accurate time entries

Qualifications

• 3+ years of paralegal experience with general liability or insurance defense litigation preferred
• Strong experience reviewing medical records and preparing medical chronologies with knowledge of Pennsylvania litigation procedures (New Jersey experience a plus)
• Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, case management systems and Westlaw or similar research platforms, with the ability to meet an annual billable requirement of approximately 1,600 hours
