Job summary

The Bachrach Group seeks a Sexual Assault & Abuse Litigation Paralegal in Philadelphia, PA with a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office/2 days remote). You will support trial attorneys on sexual assault, sexual abuse, and serious personal injury matters, handling sensitive client matters while managing a busy docket.

Ideal candidates hold a 3–5 year civil litigation background, strong organizational and communication skills, and a client-service orientation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of civil litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong organizational, analytical, research, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated compassion, professionalism and client-service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to trial attorneys handling sexual assault and related litigation.
• Draft and file correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery deadlines, production, and case-related documentation.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, medical providers, and other parties involved in litigation.
• Manage both pre-litigation and active litigation files from inception through resolution.
• Review, organize, and analyze case files and supporting documentation.
• Collect, summarize, and analyze medical records and treatment histories.
• Research and assist with resolution of governmental tax liens and related claims.
• Communicate with opposing counsel regarding case-related matters.
• Analyze wage loss and damages information for client claims.
• Assist with trial preparation and other litigation support duties as needed.

About the Role

A nationally recognized plaintiff-side litigation firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support attorneys handling sexual assault, sexual abuse, and serious personal injury matters. This role requires a compassionate, detail-oriented professional who can effectively support clients through sensitive legal matters while managing a busy litigation caseload.
