The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with New York state and federal court filing procedures, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex litigation files independently.

Key Responsibilities

• File documents in New York state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with all applicable rules and procedures
• Prepare briefs and exhibits for filing, including formatting and assembly to meet court requirements
• Create and check hyperlinks and tables within legal documents
• Perform redactions and Bates stamping on documents in preparation for production and filing
• Organize and manage complex litigation files, including document productions

  Qualifications

  • Extensive experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on commercial litigation
  • Demonstrated experience filing in New York state and federal courts
  • Proficiency preparing briefs, exhibits, hyperlinks, and tables for court filings
  • Experience with redactions and Bates stamping
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of documents and multiple deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned matters
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  Salary and Other Compensation:

  The base salary for this position is $70,000–$100,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
