Job summary

Career Group’s client, a distinguished mid-sized law firm in Midtown Manhattan, seeks a Senior Litigation Paralegal for a hybrid role (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) to support complex civil litigation and trial work.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in litigation, strong trial experience, and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pacer ECF, and NYS Court Filings. Excellent proofreading, research, and organizational skills are required; travel for out-of-state matters may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 8+ years’ experience in the litigation field, preferably in a mid-to-large sized firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, the Pacer ECF system, and the NYS Court Filings System.
• Strong proofreading and research skills.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel for out of state work.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all facets of case management: document productions, preparing for and attending depositions, conducting extensive legal and factual research as well as, participation in case teams for mediations, arbitrations and trials.
• This includes preparing case chronologies, exhibits, and evidence, and managing post-trial procedures.

Our client, a distinguished mid-sized law firm, is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join their impressive and collaborative team! This role will provide advanced litigation support to attorneys in all phases of complex civil litigation, and will serve as a key resource on procedural rules, court requirements, and best practices, and may mentor junior paralegals.

Location: Midtown NYC

Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote

Compensation: $125-145k base salary + discretionary bonus and competitive benefits

*Candidates should have strong trial experience
