Job summary

3i People, an AmLaw 100 firm, seeks a Litigation Paralegal in downtown Los Angeles to support attorneys across the litigation lifecycle, including case preparation, discovery management, and trial readiness.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with ECF, PACER, and Westlaw. A paralegal certificate and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree are preferred, with exposure to toxic tort and complex matters included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm.
• Experience with e-filing (ECF), PACER, Westlaw, and managing discovery and trial preparation.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate preferred (relevant experience may be substituted).

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, including case preparation, discovery management, and trial readiness.
• Maintain and monitor court deadlines, prepare and file documents through ECF, and conduct legal research using PACER and Westlaw.
• Draft pleadings, notices, and motions; organize deposition materials and summaries; track document productions and discovery.
• Coordinate depositions, communicate with courts, outside counsel, clients, and experts, and contribute to case strategy meetings.
• Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment with strong attention to detail.

The organization, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its team in the downtown Los Angeles office. This position supports attorneys handling a range of toxic tort matters and offers hands‑on involvement across all phases of the litigation lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, you will support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, including case preparation, discovery management, and trial readiness.
• You will maintain and monitor court deadlines, prepare and file documents through ECF, and conduct legal research using tools such as PACER and Westlaw.
• Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, notices, and motions; organizing and managing deposition materials, exhibits, and summaries; and tracking document productions and discovery.
• You will also assist with deposition coordination, communicate with courts, outside counsel, clients, and experts, and contribute to case strategy meetings.
• This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced litigation environment.

Qualifications:
