Job summary

Consulting Partners in Sherman Oaks seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support its personal injury and property damage team. You will work directly with senior attorneys on discovery, motions, and trial preparation to ensure every case is ready for trial from day one.

You will draft discovery, manage deadlines, organize medical records, and coordinate with clients and experts to build comprehensive trial binders and chronologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a litigation paralegal, ideally in plaintiff-side personal injury or property damage.
• Solid working knowledge of California civil procedure, discovery rules, and e-filing.
• Experience with medical records review and case management software.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable juggling multiple deadlines.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Armenian) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft and serve written discovery and prepare responses for attorney review.
• Prepare and e-file pleadings, motions, notices, and proofs of service; calendar and track deadlines.
• Subpoena, organize, and summarize medical records and billing; build medical chronologies and summaries.
• Draft meet-and-confer letters and support discovery motions and related work.
• Coordinate depositions, IMEs, mediations, and court dates with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare deposition outlines, witness and exhibit lists, trial binders, and exhibits, and support attorneys through trial.
• Keep case files and the case management system organized and current.
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, adjusters, and opposing counsel.

Consulting Partners is partnering with a respected plaintiff-side trial firm in Sherman Oaks to find an experienced Litigation Paralegal for its personal injury and property damage team. This is not a file-pushing role. The firm builds every case to be trial-ready from day one, so you'll work directly alongside senior attorneys on discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Your work will shape real case outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Draft and serve written discovery (form and special interrogatories, RFPs, RFAs) and prepare responses for attorney review
• Prepare and e-file pleadings, motions, notices, and proofs of service; calendar and track all deadlines
• Subpoena, organize, and summarize medical records and billing; build medical chronologies and specials summaries
• Draft meet-and-confer letters and support discovery motions, motions in limine, and law and motion work
• Coordinate depositions, IMEs, mediations, and court dates with clients, experts, court reporters, and opposing counsel
• Prepare deposition outlines, witness and exhibit lists, trial binders, and exhibits, and support attorneys through trial
• Keep case files and the case management system organized and current
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, adjusters, and opposing counsel

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, or qualified under CA Bus. & Prof. Code §6450

• $90,000 - $100,000, depending on experience
