GriffithLaw seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our growing team in Franklin, TN. Candidates should have 2–3 years of personal injury experience and be ready to draft and manage pleadings, discovery, and related filings, coordinate service, and assist attorneys throughout

Responsibilities

• Draft demand letters, complaints, and discovery responses.
• Coordinate service of process and track dates in case management system.
• File lawsuits, motions, orders, and other legal documents via portals or court locations.
• Research issues and prepare presentations for training as necessary.
• Coordinate with attorneys, doctors, and clients to schedule depositions, meetings, mediations, and trials; set up Zoom links.

We are looking for someone motivated to help people and learn the ins and outs of personal injury litigation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-3 years of personal injury experience required

JOB DUTIES:

• Draft demand letter, complaints, discovery to defendants and discovery responses from plaintiffs. Draft mediation statements, motions, orders, petitions and other legal documents. Review all legal documents as necessary and present them to the attorney for review and possible next steps.
• Coordinate service of process via process server, certified mail, or commissioner of insurance. Track service date and update case management system.
• File lawsuits, motions, orders, and other legal documents via electronic portals or physical court locations.
• Research specific issues and prepare presentations for training as necessary.
• Coordinate with attorneys, doctors, and clients to schedule depositions, meetings, mediations, and trials. Schedule pre-deposition meetings with client and set up Zoom link.

• The salary for this full-time position is adequate with experience and ranges from $75,000 to $90,000.
