Attorney Paralegal – Litigation (Personal Injury Team)
Looking to add a self-motivated and hard-working litigation paralegal to our personal injury team. Ideal candidate should have experience managing complex files from inception through litigation with experience in local area Courts (KY/OH/Federal). Position is in-person and not remote.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorney(s) in creating, maintaining, and organizing files. Preparing files for litigation including pleadings, discovery, depositions, court hearings, and trials.
- Collecting, reviewing, summarizing, and organizing proof of loss documents including open records, medical records, and other documentary evidence.
- Handle and assist with inquiries from clients, attorneys, judicial staff, etc (in person, phone, and email).
Compensation
- Base pay: $50,000.00 (annual salary) – negotiable based on experience, qualifications, and scheduling.
- Annual performance-based bonus each calendar year employed.
- 401K Profit Sharing Plan.
- Paid Vacation.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as legal secretary, assistant, or paralegal.
- Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite / Word / Excel / Mac OS X.
- Experience in personal injury litigation practice (plaintiff or defense).
- Personable, good communicator, team player.
