Job summary

Greenberg Gross LLP, a growing, high-stakes boutique trial firm, is opening its New York office and seeking a paralegal on our Employment Team. You will work closely with an assigned attorney, handling pleadings, discovery, and case preparation.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience, familiarity with eDiscovery and legal research tools, and strong organizational and communication skills. Occasional overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience
• Familiarity with eDiscovery databases and Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Assist with pleadings, discovery, document review, and trial preparation.
• Manage case files and electronic discovery, including document review and production.
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, and witness interviews.
• Conduct legal and factual research.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and perform other assigned tasks.

We are looking for a paralegal who is passionate about their work, detail oriented, high follow-through, and has a through understanding of how the legal process works. Our paralegals work one-to-one with their assigned attorney, so you get a great opportunity to become your attorney's right hand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with pleadings, discovery, document review, and trial preparation.
• Manage case files and electronic discovery, including document review and production.
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, and witness interviews.

• Maintain accurate timekeeping and perform other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience, employment litigation experience a plus.
• Proficiency in legal research tools, eDiscovery databases, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed (which isn't rarely).
