Job summary

Stamos & Trucco LLP is a small AV-rated defense firm seeking a paralegal with 2-5 years of litigation experience to join our practice. The ideal candidate has excellent computer, communication and organizational skills and can work in a fast-paced environment, with proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat.

A bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of litigation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required; ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred.
• Strong computer, communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat; knowledge of e-discovery.

Responsibilities

• Case management including review of e-filings, docketing and calendar management.
• Preparation of routine pleadings including subpoenas, orders, discovery and transmittal letters.
• Communication with clients and other parties.
• Organizing and preparing discovery for production, including utilizing e-discovery platforms.
• Trial support including preparation of trial notebooks, exhibits, witness materials.
• Legal research through Westlaw.
• Summarize client medical and other records.
• Maintain documents, media and databases.
