The position requires Paralegal certification and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and e-filing systems. Candidates should be detail‑oriented, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and work well in a team.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal certification required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and court e-filing systems.
  • Sharp attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, reliable team player with a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Work with attorneys to develop legal arguments, motions, and other case filings
  • Create reports for attorneys based on case specifications and attorney requests
  • Review, analyze, summarize, and organize case files, documents, and discovery
  • Utilize existing files and research resources to develop information for pending cases
  • Assist in preparing and organizing subpoenas or other formal requests for documents
  • Monitor changes to government guidelines or regulations and report on pertinent changes
  • Maintain attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments and calendaring deadlines
  • Communicate with clients regarding case matters and updates
  • Proofread documents to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to filing or distribution
  • Assist with secretarial and administrative duties as needed

Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Paralegal to join our award-winning team in our Arizona office. As a Paralegal, you will have an essential role in supporting our attorneys and clients and contributing to our continued success. This position will also include some secretarial and/or administrative duties.
