Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate is required; strong organization and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite, Direct Hire

Compensation: $100K to $130K DOE + Annual Bonuses + Benefits

ERG is partnering with a highly respected boutique real estate, business and banking law firm in Carlsbad that is looking for a Senior Litigation Paralegal with deep discovery experience. The firm is tech-forward and gives its team cutting-edge AI tools, so paralegals can handle large document volumes efficiently and focus on high-value work. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, including extensive hands-on work with formal written discovery, depositions, site inspections and expert witnesses, and thrives in a collegial, collaborative environment. Responsibilities

• Draft and serve formal written discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production and requests for admission.
• Prepare and organize discovery responses and document productions.
• Manage, review and analyze large volumes of documents, using AI tools and discovery analytics to identify key information.
• Assist with meet and confer efforts and help prepare the motions that follow, including motions to compel.
• Coordinate and prepare for depositions, including notices, subpoenas, exhibits and witness materials.
• Coordinate site inspections and the logistics around them.
• Work with expert witnesses, including scheduling, document management and support for expert disclosures.
• Track discovery deadlines and keep case files accurate and organized.
• Work closely with attorneys on case strategy, mediation and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, with a strong focus on discovery.
• Proven experience drafting discovery requests, responses and productions.
• Experience supporting meet and confer efforts and discovery motions.
• Hands-on experience with depositions, site inspections and expert witnesses.
• Ability to manage high document volumes accurately and efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of California civil procedure and discovery rules.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail and time management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Paralegal certificate required.
