Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced litigation legal assistant to support attorneys handling civil matters. You will manage busy calendars, filings, and case materials with meticulous organization and timely communication with clients and courts.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, ability to support multiple attorneys, and knowledge of filing procedures in New Jersey or Texas. Onsite work in Dallas and Hackensack, with competitive benefits and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience.
• Experience supporting multiple attorneys.
• Knowledge of New Jersey and Texas filing procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong litigation terminology, document preparation, organization and proofreading.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence.
• Maintain case files and calendars, depositions, hearings, mediations and travel.
• Track court deadlines and support compliance with scheduling orders.
• Prepare exhibits, witness files, deposition materials, and trial binders.
• Enter attorney time, process expenses, and assist with billing.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, counsel, experts, and vendors.
