Job summary

AMS Staffing Inc. is recruiting a Legal Administrative Assistant - Litigation for a AmLaw 200 firm in San Antonio, TX 78215. This full-time, direct hire role offers a base salary of $60K to $70K plus an annual discretionary bonus and excellent benefits.

The LAA will report to the Office Manager and assigned attorneys, working as part of a team in a hybrid role requiring in-office presence three days per week. Strong litigation support and Office 365 skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
• Provide requisite legal secretarial and administrative support to assigned attorneys.
• Prepare letters, memos, and other legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Enter client information into the system to run conflicts checks for new clients.
• Prepare and file pleadings with the appropriate court system and docketing dates into a central docketing system.
• Make travel arrangements and prepare expense reimbursement documentation.
• Answer the phones of assigned attorneys.
• Enter attorney time.
