Jobot is partnering with a national law firm to hire litigation defense attorneys in multiple experience levels. You will represent employers in workplace disputes, own cases, and collaborate with seasoned litigators.

Hybrid, full-time position with competitive base pay from $150,000 to $200,000 per year and bonus opportunities. Florida compensation to be discussed; SF location highlights include direct client exposure and professional development.

Qualifications

• Active California or Florida bar admission is required.
• San Francisco office requires 4+ years of litigation experience.
• Florida candidates should have 3–4+ years of litigation experience in employment, professional liability, or HOA matters.

Responsabilités

• Manage defense litigation from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and briefs.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings and mediations.
• Develop case strategy and prepare for trial with timely client updates.
• Collaborate with partners across practice groups.

Base pay depends on experience, location, and job-related qualifications. Bonus eligibility and benefits are subject to the employer’s applicable plans.

Base compensation: San Francisco: $150,000–$200,000—Florida compensation to be discussed.

Work arrangement: Office attendance requirements to be discussed for each location.

Job Details

What you will do

• Manage defense litigation from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, discovery, substantive motions, and briefs.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, and other proceedings.
• Develop case strategy, prepare cases for trial, and provide timely client updates.
• Collaborate with partners and attorneys across practice groups.

What you bring

• Active California or Florida admission for the selected office.
• San Francisco: 4+ years of litigation experience; labor and employment, professional liability, and/or commercial litigation experience preferred.
• Florida: approximately 3–4+ years of litigation experience in employment, professional liability, and/or HOA matters.
• Strong writing, research, oral advocacy, organization, and independent case management skills.
• Legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, and other professional liability work are especially valued in San Francisco. Florida candidates should bring deposition, motion practice, and court appearance experience.
