Job summary

SBSB Law PLLC in Houston is seeking a Litigation Defense Associate Attorney to handle a diverse civil defense caseload, including construction defect and personal injury matters. You will manage cases through all phases of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motions, mediation, and trial preparation.

You will draft and argue substantive motions, prepare case evaluations, and develop litigation strategy while maintaining direct client contact and working closely with experienced trial

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• 2–10 years of civil litigation experience.
• Defense litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Deposition and substantive motion practice experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• First- or second-chair trial experience is a plus, but not required.
