Job summary

Western Midstream in The Woodlands, TX seeks a Counsel, Litigation to support commercial, tort and employment matters. You will manage disputes, work with outside counsel, and advise HR and business leaders in a fast-paced energy environment.

Hybrid schedule (in office Mon, Tue, Thu; remote Wed-Fri), travel up to 10%, Texas bar admission required, 4+ years of complex litigation, strong writing and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant litigation experience.
• Experience in complex commercial and tort litigation.
• Labor and employment experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently.

Responsibilities

• Litigation management across commercial, contract and employment matters.
• Develop litigation strategy with stakeholders and outside counsel.
• Direct outside counsel for discovery, motions, mediation, arbitration and trial.
• Advise HR and management on discipline, wage, leave and policies.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks across business teams.
• Oversee e-discovery, subpoenas, and regulatory requests.
