Job description

Porter Hedges LLP is seeking a Litigation Associate to support our Oil & Gas Litigation group. Some prior energy disputes experience is a plus, but not mandatory. The successful candidate will have 2-4 years of experience working on complex commercial matters— including conducting complex legal research, drafting motions, pleadings, briefs, written discovery and status reports, and supporting partners in all aspects of a case – from inception to resolution.

The role demands top-tier academic credentials, strong written and oral advocacy skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.

The candidate must reside either in the Houston (hybrid role) or in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area (100% remote with occasional visits to Houston).

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent academic credentials (J.D. from a Top 50 law school and Top 25% of class preferred).
