Job summary

AMS Staffing Inc. is seeking an experienced Litigation Case Manager in the Los Angeles area. The role supports the Eminent Domain & Inverse Condemnation Group and serves as the operational hub for active matters.

The candidate will monitor deadlines, hearings, filings, and resource needs, coordinating with attorneys and staff to ensure timely completion of work. The ideal candidate has extensive litigation case management experience, superb organizational skills, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 8+ years of relevant law firm experience in litigation case management or similar roles.
• Experience coordinating a large volume of active litigation matters across multiple attorneys.
• Strong understanding of court rules, calendaring, litigation workflows, and trial prep.
• California practice familiarity strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting eminent domain, real estate litigation, public agency matters, or related fields.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visibility across a portfolio of active eminent domain and related litigation matters from opening to post-judgment.
• Conduct regular matter reviews with attorneys and case teams; confirm status, milestones, and next steps.
• Prepare matter-specific action plans, status reports, and litigation trackers.
• Anticipate needs and communicate timing for hearings, deadlines, and submissions.
• Coordinate with docketing and firm resources to track deadlines and filings.
• Review pleadings, notices, orders, and other materials to identify dates and actions.
• Generate deadline reports and status updates for leadership and teams.
• Lead cross-functional coordination among attorneys and paralegals to ensure timely completion of work.
