The role focuses on aviation-related litigation, regulatory compliance, and product liability matters, defending airlines, insurers and manufacturers.

Ideal candidates have up to 5 years’ experience, strong academics, and skills in litigation, writing and communications. Pilot or aviation experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

Litigation Aviation Attorney

Cooling & Herbers, P.C., is expanding and seeking an entry- to mid-level litigation attorney to join its Kansas City-based aviation law firm. We are looking for motivated and driven litigation attorneys with an interest in building a career in aviation law.

As an internationally recognized aviation law firm, Cooling & Herbers, P.C. provides legal services in both litigation and corporate matters. Join our litigation team to defend airlines, insurers and manufacturers in aviation-related accident and product liability cases and assist pilots with regulatory compliance matters. Our firm offers both a collaborative and independent work environment.

The ideal candidate will have up to 5 years’ experience, with a strong academic record. Preferred candidates will have a background in litigation, writing and communications skills. Pilot/aviation experience is desired but not required. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Kansas and/or Missouri.
