Job summary

Cooling & Herbers, P.C. is expanding its Kansas City, Missouri aviation litigation team and seeks an entry- to mid-level attorney with an interest in aviation law.

The role focuses on representing airlines, insurers and manufacturers in aviation-related cases and regulatory matters, with opportunities to build a career in this specialty. The ideal candidate has up to five years of experience, strong writing and communication skills, and a license to practice in Kansas and/or Missouri.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in Kansas and/or Missouri.
• Up to 5 years of experience in litigation or related field.
• Background in writing and communications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend airlines, insurers and manufacturers in aviation-related accident and product liability cases.
• Assist pilots with regulatory compliance matters and related proceedings.

Litigation Aviation Attorney

Cooling & Herbers, P.C., is expanding and seeking an entry- to mid-level litigation attorney to join its Kansas City-based aviation law firm. We are looking for motivated and driven litigation attorneys with an interest in building a career in aviation law.

As an internationally recognized aviation law firm, Cooling & Herbers, P.C. provides legal services in both litigation and corporate matters. Join our litigation team to defend airlines, insurers and manufacturers in aviation-related accident and product liability cases and assist pilots with regulatory compliance matters. Our firm offers both a collaborative and independent work environment.

The ideal candidate will have up to 5 years experience, with a strong academic record. Preferred candidates will have a background in litigation, writing and communications skills. Pilot/aviation experience is desired but not required. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Kansas and/or Missouri.
