Cooling & Herbers, P.C. is expanding its aviation litigation practice in the Kansas City area and seeks an entry- to mid-level attorney to build a career in aviation law. The ideal candidate has up to 5 years of litigation experience, a strong academic record, and excellent writing and communications skills.

Kansas and/or Missouri bar admission is required. Pilot/aviation experience is a plus but not essential.

Qualifications

• Up to 5 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Strong academic record required.
• Background in litigation, writing and communications skills is preferred.
• Admission to KS and/or MO bar is required.
• Aviation/pilot experience is desired but not required.

Litigation Aviation Attorney

Cooling & Herbers, P.C., is expanding and seeking an entry- to mid-level litigation attorney to join its Kansas City-based aviation law firm. We are looking for motivated and driven litigation attorneys with an interest in building a career in aviation law.

As an internationally recognized aviation law firm, Cooling & Herbers, P.C. provides legal services in both litigation and corporate matters. Join our litigation team to defend airlines, insurers and manufacturers in aviation-related accident and product liability cases and assist pilots with regulatory compliance matters. Our firm offers both a collaborative and independent work environment.

The ideal candidate will have up to 5 years experience, with a strong academic record. Preferred candidates will have a background in litigation, writing and communications skills. Pilot/aviation experience is desired but not required. Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Kansas and/or Missouri.
