Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced attorney for a senior civil defense litigation role in Riverside, CA. The firm represents public entities, corporations, and insured individuals across a broad range of cases.

In this position, you will conduct in-depth legal research, draft pleadings, and manage depositions, hearings, and trials. A strong track record in negotiation, advocacy, and client communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience for senior level positions.
• Active member of the State Bar in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of civil defense litigation personal injury and or insurance defense procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all phases of Civil Defense Litigation (Businesses, Public Entities and Individuals).
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Handle depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Develop and implement defense strategies, negotiate settlements, and make court appearances.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive defense strategy.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and advice on legal matters.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
