Job summary

Raydar in New York is seeking a litigation attorney to join as the first attorney on a small team. You will manage matters from intake to resolution, handling both defense and plaintiff-side work, and engage directly with clients.

You will use AI-driven software, work in person five days a week, and bring strong judgment and startup-friendly curiosity to a fast-growing legal tech environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in at least one U.S. state (New York preferred).
• Several years of contentious case work, with client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters independently from intake through discovery, depositions and settlement.
• Handle defense and plaintiff-side matters across practice areas.
• Front conversations with prospective clients to open new cases and earn their confidence.
• Provide feedback on the firm's internal software and workflows.
