Confidential Employer in the United States is seeking an experienced in-house litigation counsel to manage a full docket from intake to resolution with direct ownership of outcomes. You will supervise outside counsel, draft pleadings, and oversee enforcement actions, including Proposition 65 matters.

Requirements include a Juris Doctor, active California Bar license, and 8+ years of litigation experience. The role is remote-friendly within the U.S.

• Manage a full litigation docket from intake through resolution, including strategy, discovery, motion practice, and settlement.
• Serve as lead in-house counsel on assigned matters with direct ownership of outcomes.

• Mentor paralegals and legal support staff and manage internal legal workflows.
• Stay current on California law, including Proposition 65 developments, and proactively advise leadership.

Job Description

Pay: $90,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year

Location

This role is remote-friendly anywhere in the U.S., with availability during Pacific Time business hours. Occasional travel to California for mediations, depositions, and related proceedings is expected. Optional relocation to the Chattanooga, Tennessee or North Georgia area is available after 90 days, if mutually desired.

Note

This position requires active California Bar membership and deep litigation experience. Environmental or consumer litigation experience is strongly preferred, but not strictly required if the litigation background is highly aligned.
