Job summary

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 4–6 years of civil litigation experience to own high-impact matters in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The role handles commercial disputes, contract enforcement, business torts, and other complex civil matters in state and federal courts. Onsite work from 8:00am to 5:00pm; strong growth and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 4–7 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience handling matters in federal court strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial litigation and business disputes.
• Experience with or exposure to antitrust law is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of e-discovery and document review platforms.
• Ability to independently manage a litigation docket while collaborating with attorneys, executives, and business personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other court filings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare strategic analyses.
• Coordinate and oversee e-discovery, document collection, and production.
• Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses.
• Advise company leadership on litigation strategy, risk assessment, and legal developments.
• Assist with internal investigations and preservation of evidence.
• Support growth through proactive legal counseling and enforcement of rights.
