Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) is required from a law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Michigan in good standing is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required; foreclosure or creditors' rights preferred.
• Knowledge of Michigan court procedures and filing requirements.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare court documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent client interests and provide strategic legal counsel.
• Manage contested, litigated, and foreclosure files.
• Handle title issues, multi‑party disputes, and loan enforcement matters.
• Develop and execute litigation strategy; draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Attend hearings, arguments, settlements, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and external vendors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
