Confidential Employer, a civil litigation law firm, is seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney to join the growing legal team in the Seattle/Tacoma area. The role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office days and remote work flexibility, and involves handling civil litigation, professional liability, and healthcare-related disputes with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State Bar membership is required.
• 3+ years of litigation experience in at least one of: insurance defense, health law, or civil litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, case management, and advocacy skills.
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, and motions.
• Healthcare liability or medical malpractice defense experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule in Seattle or Tacoma.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload involving civil litigation, professional liability, and healthcare-related disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research, take and defend depositions, and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex matters.
• Build strong client relationships while taking ownership of meaningful legal work.

Job description

Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Note: Candidates must be actively licensed to practice law in Washington and have 3+ years of litigation experience in at least one of the following areas: insurance defense, health law, or civil litigation. Experience in all three areas is not required.
